How do I use the Areum Light Therapy Facial Massager?
We intentionally created the Light Therapy Facial Massager to be travel-friendly and easy-to-use. What are the benefits of light therapy?
Great question! Each colour emits it's own frequency with a specific benefit:
- Red light (640-650nm): enhances skin vitality, accelerates blood circulation, promotes growth of fiber cells and collagen to reduce melanin and fade fine lines.
- Amber light (565-625nm): treats skin erythema, stimulates fibroblast proliferation, improves immunity and repairs skin.
- Green light (485-500nm): improves cell oxygenation utilization, promotes surface microcirculation, reduces lymphatic edema and calms the skin.
- Blue light (450-485nm): contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, inhibits sebum secretion, regulates keratin, and tightens loose skin.
Can I use the massager with my own skincare products?
Yes you can!
Just make sure you clean the device thoroughly before the next use.
Is the massager travel-friendly?
Yes! The facial massager can be carried onto airplanes in your personal bag.
Do NOT store them in your checked luggage, as their lithium batteries are prohibited in checked baggage.

Do you offer free shipping?
Absolutely! We offer free shipping on all orders for all our customers in North America, and Internationally.
How quickly do you ship?
We ship Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Most orders are processed within 1-3 days, and shipped out within 3-5 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely! On international orders, tax and custom duties will be charged during checkout so that you will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery.
We currently ship unrestricted to the following locations: Afghanistan, Åland Islands, Ascension Island, Belarus, Bhutan, British Indian Ocean Territory, Caribbean Netherlands, Central African Republic, Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Congo - Kinshasa, Eritrea, French Southern Territories, Haiti, Iraq, Kosovo, Libya, Mali, Myanmar (Burma), Niger, Norfolk Island, Palestinian Territories, Pitcairn Islands, Russia, Somalia, South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands, South Sudan, St. Pierre & Miquelon, Sudan, Svalbard & Jan Mayen, Tajikistan, Tokelau, Tristan da Cunha, U.S. Outlying Islands, Ukraine, United States, Western Sahara, Yemen. We also ship devices, but not topicals to the following locations: Argentina, Algeria, Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
Bear in mind, due to limited processing lanes and reduced air freight availability for shipments, sometimes international packages experience delays. If your tracking number hasn’t updated in more than 2 weeks, please reach out to us so we can investigate the issue for you.
Do you offer a warranty?
Absolutely! For all devices, we offer a 1-year limited warranty from the date of your original purchase. If your device does not work properly due to a manufacturer's defect, we will replace the massager free of charge within that 1-year timeframe.
Warranty replacements are processed after returned items are received, when applicable. For more information about how to initiate a return, please see our Return Policy.
This warranty does not cover devices damaged by:
- Accident, misuse, abuse, or alteration.
- Theft or loss.
- Use with unauthorized accessories or use other than as instructed.
- Connecting to incorrect current and voltage.
- Service or repair by unauthorized persons.
This warranty extends only to the original retail purchase, original retail purchase date, with original proof of purchase (such as retail store receipt or Areum order number) and only when purchased from an authorized retailer or reseller. Warranty replacements are processed after returned defective items are received, when applicable.
This warranty only extends if the device is used in conjunction with authorized device accessories (such as charging cable).
Areum will not be responsible for any incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use of this device. All implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of fitness and merchantability are limited in duration to one year from date of original purchase.
What is your return policy?
All returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your order. To initiate a return, please click here. Returns must be shipped back and in transit to our warehouse within 14 days of the return request confirmation in order to process a refund.
For eligible returns, a pre-paid return shipping label will be provided for U.S. or Canadian orders only, and for return shipping from a U.S. or Canadian location. If you have sent your return using a different carrier/different shipping label than the label provided, please provide the tracking information. Shipping costs associated with using a different carrier or a different return label are non-refundable.
In order to receive a full refund, returns must include the product, all original packaging, instructions, and accessories. All items must be returned and in good, working condition with normal wear and tear.
Returns will be fully inspected upon receipt to ensure good working condition of all components. If any of the components are missing, dirty or damaged, the cost of the affected component will be deducted from your refund.
Please allow up to 15 business days for processing after your return is received. We can only process returns for products sold on Areum. Refunds post to your original payment method and may take up to 7-10 business days to appear. All shipping fees are not refundable (most orders qualify for free shipping).
Topicals are eligible for physical return if they are unopened and in their original packaging.
For international orders: We cannot provide free return labels for international clients. International return shipping fees are not covered by Areum.
